  Nathan put his arm around her shoulders and bent to her ear. “You weren’t planning on staying here the whole evening, were you?” he murmured.

  She turned and wrapping her arms around his waist, stared up at him in mock confusion. “Why? What ever did you have in mind?”

  His grin was wicked. “Dinner for two and then bed, of course. What else?”

  She laughed. “Now, why does that sound suspiciously like I’m not going to be getting much sleep?”

  “Sleep is the last thing on my mind when I have you in my arms, Mrs Travers.” And his lips met hers in a teasing kiss filled with the promise of so much more to come.
